Pisa
Pisa, thanks to its Leaning Tower is one of the most popular places in the world, but it is also a city that holds priceless treasures that make it one of the most important Italian cities of art, offering visitors the unique scenery of Piazza dei Miracoli (since 1987 UNESCO World Heritage Site).

To characterize the city, in addition to its tower, there is a beautiful historic center with narrow alleys and large squares, Renaissance buildings, churches, the wonderful Lungarno and unique views where to shop, as under the ancient loggias of Borgo Stretto.

Montecatini val di Cecina
The first name of this village was Castrum Montis Leonis and it was building in the year 960 from the family Belforti.

In the year 1351 it was rule by Volterra and by Florence in 1472.

By dismantling copper in the first years of Italy the village reached impress splendour.

Long small lanes, walks and through medieval gates of the historical centre you can find: a beautiful square, church San Biagio of 1356 with impresses works of art and Palazzo Pretorio of the year 1300 with his marvellous bows front and circle curvatures around. Build in 11 century; a big tower called Belforti is watching the square.


Gello
Gello is a little village isolate over the top on a hill of the Etruscan coast with old farmhouses, one church and ruins of old houses.

His story dates back to 754, but after the destruction of the village in the year 1479 there aren’t more historical information’s.


Bolgheri
From Cecina to south direction on the road Aurelia you reach the little village Bolgheri of Livorno.

Hishistorical story is principal based on a small church called San Guido, depart of a long cypress avenue.

Famous poesies written by Giosuè Carducci about this avenue makes the story of this village still alive today.

At the end of the avenue you can see the house of young Carducci.

Today Bolgheri is famous for the growing area of Italian choice wines all over the world.

Up the village over a hill with green forests there’s the castle Castiglioncello di Bolgheri, which remembers the story of the Earl family Gherardesca.


Cecina
Cecina is distantly 20 km from the Agriturism.

With the locality Cecina Mare it is the most visits town for shopping in this region.

It joys wide and beautiful pinewoods. You can find free and also private beaches all over the coast.

Cecina is ideal for taking sunbaths on the beach and, why not, relaxing by shopping in the centre.

For all, who likes to have special fun you can visit a fantastic aquatic park with lot of games.


S. Gimignano
Distantly 50 km from the Agriturism the visitor instantly can’t see this town.

But he can see the skyline, that far away looks like chimneys or cypresses.

Little by little, after clearing up the view you can see an unusual panorama of a lot towers, incredible in only one town.

But how many there are? You are standing in front of a unique panorama on the world.

At the top of medieval time San Gimignano count 72 towers.

But only 15 towers are giving us the impressive notion of old time parties today.


Volterra
Volterra is isolate over the top of a hill. It offers a panorama view of the Appennini del Tirreno.

The town has got particular charm what differs it from other towns.

Impressed by the huge town-wall: you can see one part of the wall made like castles at medieval time and on the other part an Etruscan-wall along the hill country.

In the town square you can find two buildings standing opposite: Palazzo Pretorio and Palazzo Priori with high towers.

Palazzo Priori one of the oldest buildings of Tuscany municipals bless works of art by the artists: Luca Signorelli, Domenico Ghirlandaio and Daniele di Volterra.


Fun

A few minutes away you can reach Marina di Cecina and Marina di Bibbona and their beautiful sea.

Moreover in about 20 minutes by car you can also reach the famous white beaches in Solvay; coastline at the end is shaded by thick pine forest and is opened to a crystalline sea. Often used at sets in numerous films and photo shoots.
